Lost power during update/reflash - DTX CableAnalyzer

Symptoms:
  • Screen is blank
  • USB does not work

It is important that the DTX units have sufficient charge before updating their software. As per the manual, we recommend attaching the battery chargers before starting any software update.
If the DTX main unit or PC should lose power during the update process, try restarting the update again. If this fails: 

  • Power off the DTX CableAnalyzer
  • Hold down the Botão Liga/Desligaand Talk Buttonkeys 
  • Keeping them depressed, power up the DTX main unit 
  • Release the keys 
  • Wait for all activity in the DTX to complete 
  • Start the upgrade process again with the USB connected to the remote and using LinkWare PC Version 9,7.

 


If the DTX remote unit or PC should lose power during the update process, try restarting the update again. If this fails: 

 

  • Power off the DTX CableAnalyzer
  • Hold down the Test Buttonand Talk Buttonkeys 
  • Keeping them depressed, power up the DTX remote unit 
  • Release the keys 
  • Wait for all activity in the DTX to complete 
  • Start the upgrade process again with the USB connected to the remote and using LinkWare PC Version 9,7.
